Not everyone can afford the gadget they are dreaming of. Some have to work for a few months to save money and buy their material desire. There are also others who are already contented in using “almost broken” gadgets because they simply can’t afford to buy a new one.
This is exactly the story of one student in Malaysia named Yeop who endures using a broken laptop that looks nothing close to the usual one people use.
Yeop taped the screen to a cardboard box to keep it upright. He also had to break the keyboard part because the fan was out of order. The whole computer was exposed and it looks like a dying desktop.
The keyboard from the laptop was no longer functional so he had to attach an external keyboard, thankfully, the USB port is still working!

Yeop’s friend, Herman was the one who posted the photo online. Herman was only laughing at his friend but also admired his creativity in making the laptop work again. Little did he know that his post will be viral and his friend will get an amazing gift from it.
As reported by Rachfeed, a lot of Netizens expressed their admiration towards Yeop saying he would surely go a long way in life and find success because he knows how to make the most of what he has no matter how difficult it may seem.
Because of so many people sharing the post, it caught the attention of Acer. The company decided to give Yeop a surprise gift: a brand new Acer Nitro 5!
He could now freely work on his assignments and projects because he now has a brand new laptop.
