Unexplainable phenomenon are happening all over the world nowadays. From large specie of animals found on coasts to sudden changes in weather patterns, everything just seems to be unpredictable.
Here goes another phenomena which left people confused.
A stream in Koforidua called “ATAKPAAME” near King of King’s School, Zongo has turned into blood on Saturday, October 7. Residents were baffled when they woke up and discovered that the river near them turned into blood-red.
Witnesses who live near the area said that the river was running normally at 5 AM but after a few minutes, it suddenly turned into a red color as reported and confirmed by a local blogger.
“The really weird thing is that we have always been able to catch fish and can even drink sometimes because it’s just normally so good. Nobody has any idea how it could have ended up being polluted because there are no factories that dump anything in the water here,” one of the residents said.
Police officers in Koforidua has confirmed that the change in color of the stream was caused by a powdered substance. Chief Inspector Ebenezer Sekyi said that the substance was poured into the stream by a tie and dye manufacturer. Evidence were gathered by the police from the company.
Chief Inspector Sekyi added that they are still looking into the matter and will take the appropriate action in due time.
